Amy is a practitioner of various styles of yoga; she loves Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Yin. She believes in the practice of different styles and techniques to support wellbeing and help deal with life’s challenges; for her some of those have been grief, injuries, stress and pregnancy.
Following the signs and listening to her heart lead her to discovering a spiritual community in Costa Rica and it was there in December 2018 she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Hatha. She’s since done level 1 Yin Yoga.
Her belief is all about embracing yoga to not just feel better physically but to heal emotionally and grow spiritually - and it’s all connected.
Essentially a class is all about getting on the mat and giving that time to nourish yourself, to come into the breath and the body and to leave the mat more open, stronger, calmer, lighter, more energised, with more clarity, or whatever it is you need on that day in that moment. She focuses on the importance of surrendering, listening & self exploration, accepting, gratitude and feeling the freedom to make the practice uniquely yours every time.
