Rachel
RawYogi & Founder of Community Yoga Collective
Rachel is a leading yoga teacher in Dorset, who since qualifying with Union Yoga in 2015 has been teaching ashtanga and vinyasa classes and courses. She is also qualified to teach yoga on the nhs with yoga in healthcare alliance. With the motivation to share yoga with those who many not find themselves on a yoga mat so easily and a decade working as a talking therapist. She trained with The Minded Institute & Ourmala (supporting specifically refugees & displaced people) in London to enable her to teach trauma based yoga within a multitude of various mental health services. 2016 Rachel began cOMMunity yoga class in Boscombe as a way of bringing the community together and to provide a safe space with no judgement. cOMMunity yoga has since grown and has supported many individuals. The class is a safe space for people to practice yoga & also a platform for new teachers to gain confidence.
Rachel is the co-founder of Rawsome Retreats where people have an opportunity to use yoga, mindfulness & nutrition in nature as a means to support better emotional wellbeing & physical health.
Yoga has had a profound impact on how Rachel sees herself and the world she lives in. It is this understanding that underpins her motivation to work with immense passion and is the driving force in helping others realise their worth. Supporting individuals with the journey from head to heart.
